ESPN did an interesting article on Enes Kanter who talks about a lot of things including his inability to travel, Turkey, Lebron, Durant, the Warriors and giving back to the community. I found it a nice read.

See the link below for more information. Here are some excerpts.

Are you scared?

Scared? Obviously it's scary because it's jail, man. But even if they give him 15 years, I don't think it'll be 15 years because I don't think the president will be there that long, and I hope not live that long. We'll see, man. We're just waiting.

What about you personally?

No, because I know in America they can't do anything. But anywhere else -- I had a camp in Canada I had to cancel, or I was going to go to Norway for a freedom forum, and I canceled it. Because anywhere outside of the U.S., it can be very dangerous. I can't live my life like that, paranoid about what's going to happen. I'll go to Times Square and hang out, or walk around in New York. If it happens, if something happens, it's gonna happen.

I think the most important thing is inspiring kids. Whenever we do these camps, we sit down and do a Q&A and just talked to them about everything. Talk to them about life, talk to them about how important education is, how important school is, how important family is and everything. So we talk to them about some real stuff. They will never forget.

If I was a 9- or 10-year-old kid and an NBA player came and talked about anything, I would never forget that.

I agree - Kanter is an interesting guy, and I think pretty courageous for taking a public stand against the regime in Turkey. It's good to see more athletes standing up for principles rather than the typical self-centered rich and entitled stereotype (that is unfortunately, often true, as well).

New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis has parted ways with longtime agent Thad Foucher, sources told ESPN.

To officially change agents, players are required to file paperwork with the players' union and then wait 15 days. Rich Paul of Klutch Sports, who represents LeBron James among others, is a leading contender to represent Davis, sources said.

Not a fan of Rich Paul, but given Davis' crazy low profile despite being a top 5 player... I can't blame him for looking elsewhere.
