That's a poopy trailer, to be certain. But I'm not writing the movie off based on that. I'm sure there's plenty of fanboy eye candy, ass-kicking and pure awesomeness in the 120 minutes of Nolan's film.

Jerry Seinfeld is offended by the production value of the "pirated" trailer.

i'm sure there will be also and if anything, I'm kinda glad it's a poopy trailer. it's kind of started to dampened down my expectations for the movie which sorely needed to happen. I'm an unabashed worshipper of TDK. I think it's the greatest hollywood blockbuster of the last two decades... certainly the most blown away in the theaters I had been since T2 and my expectations for the follow up had been ridiculously high... to the point that nothing could probably meet those expectations. so if anything, this trailer curbing my enthusiasm is probably a blessing in disguise.

i have complete faith in Nolan. He hasn't made a bad film yet... hell, he hasn't even made a mediocre film yet as the closest thing approaching that was Insomnia. Meanwhile Memento, TDK, Inception were all brilliant movies and Batman Begins/The Prestige were pretty great movies as well. Better to expect something on that level than the previous three and if it's better, i'll be happily surprised and if not, it'll be exactly what I'm expecting.

Come to think of it, Bill Murray in Quick Change did channel a little of the Joker...

is anyone else COMPLETELY underwhelmed by pretty much everything that's leaking out about this movie? That first shot they revealed of Bane was pretty cool, but that's about it.

and from the looks of what they just released, it looks like Catwoman will be helping Batman fight Bane... please tell me there's SOME other villain they're hiding from the Rogue's gallery that play a role in this sucker. The idea that Batman needs help from a woman just to beat Bane leaves kind of a bad taste in my mouth.

I'm not going to get too worked up about this since we are just just under a year away from seeing it. This image could be from the beginning of the movie and Catwoman could turn on Batman later in it. So far Nolan has done everything right and deserves the benefit of the doubt.

Pull your head out jackass! :)

If you have seen a leaked photo of the Penguin driving the Batmobile in Batman Returns, would you have assumed that he was working with Batman? Or that he had concocted some scheme to steal it?

I'm sure Nolan is going to roll Catwoman the same as everyone else...walking the fence.

For me, it all hinges on which Bane Nolan decides to use; the Thug, or the Mastermind. If he uses Mastermind-Bane, it'll be the only Villain he needs...and Batman could use the help!

I'd say that the Penguin looks pretty freaking sick and he stole it.

here it just looks like a chick on a Batman's bike. underwhelming to say the least.

Ah ha! I'm on to you...you magnificent bastard...I read your book!

I thought at first you were trying to draw out a Burton Catwoman vs. Nolan Catwoman fanboy debate...but in reality, you're rolling with the extra cynicism so that you keep you're expectations lower for the final product so that Nolan's coup de grâce blows your mind.

Smooth move!

lol. i'm not trying to do anything. I AM happy though that I've been underwhelmed. my expectations were wayyyyyyyyy too high after TDK. Hell, I pretty much creamed my shorts just seeing the first poster and pic of Bane for this, so anything that lowers my expectations at this point, in a weird way kinda makes me happy at this point.

I am a tad disappointed that she doesn't look more "cat like" but at the end of the day if this story is as bad ass as the last one I will get over it.

There are pics on IMDB with Batman fighting with Bane and something struck me as odd. What is that you might say? Well, the fact that Bane is a few inches shorter than Batman for starters. Anyone who's read Knightfall knows that Bane was a body builder while in prison and was buff before he got on Venom so this notion that Bane was this little shrimp that got all buff after receiving Venom is absurd. Making Bane shorter than Batman is almost as bad as Shumacher's Bane being a mindless thug.

that i wouldn't worry too much about. camera angles can fix a hell of a lot to make people look bigger than they are. sly stallone is TINY yet looks bigger then every one of they bad guys he ever faces.

I heard they were filming in Heinz Field this past weekend and the Gotham Knights football team is .... the Pittsburgh Steelers.

I'm sorry, but this is looking/sounding more and more like a shumacher-level disaster. I don't want to see Roethlisberger and Palumalu in a batman movie. That's way too "gimicky" and would--at least for me--take me out of my suspension of disbelief.
