This Sunday is Warner's Last Stand

There was a while there when every single throw was right on the numbers. I'd guess it was about 8 or 10 passes in a row. I've rarely seen ANY QB be that accurate, much less a Cards QB.

One thing jumps out from this game. 33 completions for only 250 yards and at one point in the game TV showed the Cards with 117 yards after the catch.

That would be about 4 yards a completion less the YAC. Was Buffalo giving the short pass? Because Warner had all day to throw and yet was continually having to throw short.

Kurt essentially used the short to mid-range air attack today as his rushing attack... We couldn't move the ball on the ground at all today, particularly on first and second down.
He was absolutely masterful today. Easily top 3 QB performances I have ever personally witnessed.

Well Warner couldn't have proved himself better than he did today. Even after he took that shot, which should have been flagged imho helmet to helmet, he gutted out a very impressive performance! Their is a reason the players respect Warner he is a gamer and today it showed, if he can keep that up this season we will make the playoffs and also do something never done in Az...win our division! Bravo Warner and to the D too as they showed up to play today.

Warner had a very good game, and did what he had to, in order to keep his team believing.

The beauty was that Kurt took it. At halftime they had Rob Moore on talking about that and he said that's the key to the game they're giving Kurt the underneath he has to continue to take it. Calvisi said in talking to Cards players at the half they all said their strategy is keep everything in front of you and I mean EVERYTHING, getting deep is damn near impossible with the cushions they're giving. So Kurt took what they gave him, moved the chains and protected the ball. That's what we need, we have so much going on offense right now that as long as Kurt doesn't get greedy or careless we're pretty tough to stop.

According to the CBS commentators, the Cardinals got something like 120 yards of YAC yesterday, and that was one of Dick Jauron's keys to a Bills win, (holding down the YAC.)

I mentioned to my wife right before the game started that I was really ready for Leinart to replace Warner. I just didn't trust Kurt to come thru at all. Boy, was I wrong. Warner played a hell of a game and really surprised me.

I can make no case for anyone but Warner after Sundays performance at this time

That pass the ED missed was one of the best passes I have ever seen. I believe that ED missed it because he didn't believe anybody could drop that pass in like that. I said to my wife after that pass this ain't LSU anymore, this is the NFL.

That play was pretty disappointing but they got the ball right back to him and they all seemed to move on. I was pleased to see that it was probably just one of those plays and not ED playing like a rook. Still, painful to see one of the rare plays down the field wasted.

wtf? he had one bad half all season.

Actually, Warner had one bad/horrible quarter. Amazingly he came back from that quarter to make a strong stand and throw for over 400 yards. There are time in all our lives that for what ever reason things just turn to crap. It happens to the best of them.
