Junk time or not, these are professional athletes and they should be able to pick off a simple pass and turn up field. It sucks that he slipped.

I will miss the Honey Badger, but we need another guy to step up!

That just sucks. The kid was playing awesome all season long.

This is an injury I think we can survive though. We have depth in the secondary, especially when Rashad Johnson is back and healthy. Nowhere near as bad as it would be on the offensive side if Veldheer went down and Sowell came on to replace him.

They'll be fine. Defense was pretty good the last time he was out for the year.

Totally bummed for the Badger. I couldnt celebrate last nights victory thinking what was coming today. He was beasting this season and now is relegated to cheering on his team going forward to the SB. I will continue to wear my #32 Mathieu jersey and recommend everybody goes out and buys one to support the heart and soul of this defense.

I hope HB takes this in stride. This kind of stuff is frustrating and depressing, even angering. All those things are potential triggers for self destructive behavior, stay strong HB. The Birdgang loves you bro.

So, if there's any silver lining at all, maybe the Defensive corps will use this as a rallying cry, for the remainder of the journey

I mean, it's a big loss, but we still have the player that's playing the most important position in football 100% healthy.

I still have hope we can make a deep run.

We beat Seattle in their SB year without HB, we can do it again(and to other teams).

I believe.

I cannot express my thoughts better than this. There is no such thing as "next Badger up." The Honey Badger is one of a kind.

Those complaining about him being out there, relax. It's a non contact injury. From my understanding, it was just a matter of time before it popped. Sucks it happened now, but seems like it'd have been inevitable. Hope he makes an epic comeback.

This seasons not over yet. Had this been Carson, I'd agree with u. But this teams capable of putting up 40+ any given Sunday. I like our chances.

I still think we have a great shot to win it. And I'll continue to think that as long as Palmer and the greatest set of weapons on offense continue to take the field. But they gotta play perfect football. Can't wait to see what happens from here on out.

The job does get much tougher though... Against Qb's like Newton and Wilson, the Badger's skillset comes in very handy! Without him, those types of QB's could have an easier time doing what they do...

Powers will play in the slot on certain packages. Bethel will play more on the outside. D.J. Swearinger role will increase on defense.

That's what I figured would happen.

I think Bethels pretty good & Powers will be now playing to his strengths. I still think DJ is la liability in coverage he's excels in the box. Thus I'm not so sure he plays a whole lot once Rashad is good.

I still believe we're gonna win the Super Bowl

It is NOT the same knee he injured in 2013.

Kind of suggest to me that both knees where naturally the same and it was a matter of time before the other knee had a problem... hope he takes this in stride because his biggest attribute is his technique and instincts, he is a 'football player' which makes him special and not because he is some freak athletic guy

I agree. Some people naturally want to run to mommy or point fingers and blame when a player gets hurt playing this game. Its unfortunate, especially for a non-contact injury but you cant play or coach scared. It was a freak accident, it could have happened jumping up and down on the sideline. No one knows.
