This might literally be the dumbest post ever. I’m betting most of the “Pieces of crap” that are rightfully criticizing Kyler because he gives us plenty of ammo, likely take their own jobs more serious than Kyler does. Nobody is “bullying” him. Sitting back on your keyboard @ ASFN isn’t bullying Kyler Murray. So asinine.

Plus who cares if he’s taller than a few of them? How is that relevant to the price of tea in China or playing quarterback in the NFL? Or sitting back on THEIR couch?

Those that may just be shorter than Kyler AND are kicking back on the couch criticizing him aren’t required nor paid to be an NFL quarterback last I checked… Come back when you got better material.

Also, almost certainly "most" aren't shorter than him.

Kyler doesn't take his job seriously because some fools on an internet board said so!! What a joke. And intentionally misrepresenting what I said to make your point is even worse.
Literally from Kylers own mouth. When you freely admit you don’t study tape you clearly don’t take your job seriously. FACT. Lifting weights all off season doesn’t make you committed to your profession.

What did I misrepresent? You made the claim that anyone who says anything about Kylers height is a literal piece of crap and is bullying him. Pure hyperbole and fodder.

1) Not from Kyler's mouth. “I’m not one of those guys that’s going to sit there and kill myself watching film. I don’t sit there for 24 hours and.." - the world is not black and white. Kyler said he doesn't watch film 24/7. That doesn't mean he "doesn't study tape."

2) My original post is still right there to look at. Did I address people who say "anything about Kyler's height"??? No. Kyler is 5'10", he's a short quarterback. That's a fact. I'm clearly addressing the folks who constantly make schoolyard bully jokes about it like little children.

I just voted to pay him big money.

Now that Scottsdale's finest..... the "Bro Brothers" are locked up for 6, they may as well have their QB along for the ride after his 5th year option runs out.

1) Not from Kyler's mouth, just a misrepresentation of his words. “I’m not one of those guys that’s going to sit there and kill myself watching film. I don’t sit there for 24 hours and.." - the world is not black and white. Kyler said he doesn't watch film 24/7. That doesn't mean he "doesn't study tape."

You said:

“It's funny because Kyler at 5'10" is taller than most of the pieces of crap who bully him over height from their couch”

It’s pretty clear you addressed people that say things about Kylers height and referred to them all as literal “pieces of crap” it’s really not that hard. So yes YOU did address people that say things about Kylers height.

The proof is in the pudding bro. His inability to read defenses and regularly unable to find the open WRs much of the time is indicative of his own words and the studying tape comment. It’s also indicative that just maybe his height may be an issue as well. It is what it is bro. There is a big difference from watching tape after a game which EVERYONE does. As opposed to taking the time to breakdown study your opponents and overall defensive formations and alignments etc….. If you think Kyler is doing his level best in that part of his game? More power to you. Lol

I'm moving on from this and removed a post that was overly toxic, apologies. Carryon.
I agree that Murray's quote about studying film is being slightly overblown. But I do think it shows a window into his mind. I'm more concerned with his comment about how he sees the field.

I'd rather be him be a film nut personally, but I doubt he doesn't watch any film. He's not like Jake Plummer who admitted that he never watched film when he was a Cardinal.

I'd rather him be a film nut as well. I believe that NYT article came out when we were 7-0. Kyler probably felt on top of the world at that point and said things that were very arrogant. Hopefully he has been humbled by the season's ending and will adjust his approach going forward.

One of my friends is a Rams fan and he constantly makes fun of kyler's height.

The guy is 5'7.
Anyone that is at a Tom Cruise level of shortness should not poke fun of anyone else's height because unless they are Peter Dinklage they are likely taller than you. :)

Gambo says a trade demand will follow if the deal isn't done in two weeks.

The agent pushed this knowing that Kingsbury was about to get rewarded so he wants the same for Kyler.

Multiple teams will be in on a trade and will happily pay him what he wants
Breer just said the reason they approached this early because they dont want to have him in a Baker situation without a contract extension. One major injury forcing him into a year 5 deal. Would rather see if they can get it figured out now or trade before the draft.

Maybe its the agent just leaking things to him as well.

I hate these specious arguments. People weren’t just slamming him
For just the film quote. It’s the combo of both statements that brought the criticism. You can’t separate the two quotes from each other because both of them speak to how much he thinks he needs to work off the field in the film room.

Nothing specious about the argument at all....in fact I would say that wide use of "Kyler doesn't watch film," is complete and utter nonsense.

Enough mud has been slung at Kyler that just isn't true. It started pre-draft and most of it was nonsense.

But he is culpable for his failures on the field. People didn't care about the pouting and negative body language when the Cardinals were winning. Aaron Rodgers is a ginormous douche on the sidelines, but it's overlooked because of his accomplishments as well.

He watches film. ALL NFL QBs are forced to watch film. The distinction is he is quoted as not needing to watch ADDITIONAL film. Like, he sees the field, man. He doesn't need to be a film rat, man, like those other really good QBs that put in the extra film work, man.

I'm hyperbolizing, but you get the point.

lol...talk about a total lack of self confidence. Kirk Cousins had the determination to back himself...

Guess you can say “total lack of self confidence” about a lot of other players then lol

We will get offers of 1 first round pick. Deshaun Watson, who may miss his 2nd complete season next year will demand more.

That’s just a emotional comment. There is no way you actually believe that to be true.

Naw it's damning on the Kyler hater club who are delusional enough to think franchises trade 4th year studs after decades of QB hell.
It is comical.. name 1 franchise QB in the past 20 season that was traded on his rookie deal. I’m not talking about bust QBs, I’m talking about any QB that looked remotely capable of being the franchise QB.
