http://www.nba.com/analysis/rules_e.html?nav=ArticleListPHYSICAL CONTACT-SUSPENSIONAny player or coach guilty of intentional physical contact with an official shall automatically be suspended without pay for one game. A fine and/or longer period of suspension will result if circumstances so dictate.
Ya know, if the ref really wanted to, he could have totally flopped right there and sent KG packing immediately.
I remember something about that but wasn't the 1 game suspension he served against the SUNS? .......i don't think the incident happened against the SUNS.Anyone remember when Jordan was suspended from a game against the Suns because he pushed a ref? I think it was in '93.
Oh and people are reporting Marvin Williams also came off the bench but you dont see it in teh video.
wtf
He wasnt on the court until the whistles started blowing. He was already up but he hadnt stepped foot onto the court until the whistles. Watch it again. I'm 100% sure of this.
I think youre trying much too hard to convince yourself.
He clearly moving forward once the altercation has engaged. 100% still moving as the whistles sound.
Without a doubt.

Oopsy Daisy!

Don't bet on Perkins being suspended. And watch Sterns response to be the one I put above.
On further review and different angles, KG should be suspended. He clearly used force on shoving that ref off of him.

It'll be interesting to watch this play out. The NBA just fined Pierce 25K for his flashing of the Bloods sign at Horford in game 3 after Horford taunted him.
They called it a menacing hand gesture but apparently it's the sign for the bloods. Danny Ainge tried to explain it away by saying he does the sign before every game it means "blood, sweat and tears", but apparently the NBA didn't buy that.
So if they have to suspend Garnett and Perkins now it'll be interesting.
I just read that too. Apparently blood, sweat and tears looks strikingly similar to the Piru Bloods sign (Inglewood, CA).
No, if anything I'm trying to be as objective as possible. If I wanted to convince myself or see what I wanted to see there, I'd picture Perkins pulling out a machete and getting bounced from the league for good. Then KG and Pierce and Ray Allen getting into a fight with each other and never able to play together again.
