Shocking, as you are a COD buff like I am.

I am just iffy about running on walls, flying in the air and mech warriors.

It could be awesome but I have never enjoyed a mech warrior type game yet.

I got into Halo for a while which was different for me but I picked up Halo 2 the other day and hated it. I dont like having to find a worthy gun and being mutilated until you find it - having to learn where the guns are and etc.

Ive seen very little on titanfall but hopefully it is awesome. Looking forward to playing that, need for speed and seeing what else is on the horizon.

They just announced that Titanfall will not allow the Mechs to shoot through walls of buildings. It's supposed to be a balance decision in the game. I have to say I am really really really disappointed. Nothing irritates me more with modern gaming when environments are not interactive. It's a huge step backwards IMO.

I am not saying you have to have entire buildings collapse (a la Battlefield 4 awesome engine) but to be able to shoot holes would have been nice. I have a feeling this is going to annoy me to no end.

Strange, you can shoot through walls on call of duty

Maybe while testing it they found it to be completely unfair when they were running around in a mech.

I bought Dead Rising 3 yesterday with a gift card I had for Kmart of all places. I don't care much about the story but I really enjoyed running around slaying zombies for several hours last night. Coop mode would be cool I think.

I think they were faced with deadlines. It's interesting because the developer didn't want to admit it. He basically said, they considered it but it would have required massive changes to their engine and then through out there that even if they had the time he is not sure they would have made that design choice.

I call B.S. I think it was simply a time issue and he surely must know how ridiculous a "feature" like that would play with veterans of FPS type games.

At the very least, you don't allow the mech to bring building crumbling down or severally reduce the bullet hit once it hits the wall. I know there is a potential balance issue but gamers are not that dumb.

Not being able to shoot through walls with a mech seems beyond silly.

It is a lot of fun co-op. I pretty much only like to play it co-op.

Got "Plants vs Zombies" arriving today for the kids. Curious to see how it plays.

I preordered it, but it is also coming via Gamefly so I should get it shortly. I am getting Thief shipped to me as well.

I am really disappointed that the Xbone does not play 3D. I was hoping that they would have a patch to fix this by now from complaints. Has anyone heard if they are going to do this. They advertise it as an entertainment Hub and don't support 3D. I am even more surprised that the PS4 doesn't. Sony makes 3D tv's wth!!! :bang:

Concept never caught on. Most companies are just abandoning it. At least for now.

If the demand sustains I am sure they can patch it

I think this is more likely. 3D is gimmicky and not something I have ever had a ton of interest in. I do like 3d IMAX films but regular films I prefer to watch with regular eyes.

It will be added at a later date. The console is perfectly capable according to the articles leading up to the release. It was never going to be a day 1 feature. However, all indications are it's simply a matter of a firmware update. Same with the PS4. As long as movies keep getting released in 3D at the theater and on Blu Ray I would have to imagine there will be enough of a demand. Plus with VR working it's way back into gaming, I would imagine you will see future accessories in that vain.

Popped in "Plants vs Zombies" this morning so that it would be updated for the kids when they get home from school. Was able to play it for a couple of minutes before heading out to work. Seems like it will be a fun game. Pretty funny concept.

No campaign mode has geared this down to a rental vs a buy for me. $40 for multiplayer only is pretty steep.

no local co op either. no dice for me. Developers don't understand that I like to play with the people at my house on my couch more than I like to play online.

I should get it in the mail today or tomorrow. It should be fun to try at least.

I thought the Xbox One version has a local splitscreen co-op mode. Will have to check when I get home.

It does. I don't have a second controller to try it out, but it does have it in some form.

let me know your verdicts and madcard, let me know how well your youngest ones do on it. If its a solid, fun game for kids I may grab it for my son and daughter to play together. They are pretty hooked to lego indiana jones at this time though.

Young ones will probably really like it. Me, I couldn't play it for more than an hour before and it is going back. Multiplayer is slow; you can't run.

It is definitely different, it just doesn't appeal to me at all. Shame because I thought I would get into it.

My son is 7 and he is a hardcore gamer already. My daughter is 9 and she isn't into gaming as much. However they both were pretty excited about getting this one. I'll let you know how they do with it. I got it because they can both play it together.
