    I disagree. Just because your best player is kicking the tire of arguably the greatest QB of all time doesn't mean the guy you have is chopped liver. We still should be a perennial playoff team with Kolb and another offseason, but Peyton is Peyton. You have a chance to get the greatest, you do it.

    Look long term. Skeletons got one year left on his deal. If coaches like him, and don't believe he'll resign to play Kolbs backup, then the logical step is cut Kolb and resign John.

    Never far away on salary. It was the guaranteed money that they didn't agree on. Same with Rolle. In both circumstances the opposing team offered more guaranteed money that we refused to match. In both circumstance we have appeared to have made good decisions too.

    Was pathetic till Larry scored on his first catch. In his first interview they asked him about playing hard and his response was on the lines of "I came here to represent my team and my fans. Cardinal football is physical" or something along those lines. Pro bowl is set up for failure anyway...

    Arians is a great coach and reports of his retirement and fairly far fetched. He was pushed out in Pitt and I would be super interested in what he could do with a guy like Skelton. On this coaching staff, as crazy as it sounds, I like Arians more than Haley.

    I don't think he goes anywhere this year, possibly not next year. I do not think he makes it to year 4 though, and that is ok. He brought Deshea Townsend with him here and I really believe that if Horton leaves, Townsend probably gets a look at being the next DC. It's what makes the most sense...
