    Panthers at Cards 9/11/2001

I missed the first half of that quarter, but Newton looked to be getting a lot of time to pass from what I did see.

Interesting..we were #1 in off in preseason

I'm trying to wrack my brain over last season's pre-season games... Were there signs last pre-season of the performance we were later to see in the regular season? I can't remember the games, but I recall the Defence dominating the offence in camp and the feeling that we had the shaping of a...

Preseason Game #4: Denver Broncos vs. Arizona Cardinals

(Quick question - what's considered a sell out? The stadium looked very empty on the first punt but Urban was reporting earlier in the week that it was the 55th straight sell out. I'm guessing Season tickets holders who don't show up are included in that?)

    Is it me...or?

When I first started following the Cards i used to read over there. Not sure how I found this site, must of been when they shut the board down over the Warner/Leinart blowup. I've learnt so much by reading you guys debating Xs and Os and nuances of play and players, and really breaking things...

Can it be tampering if the two teams have an agreement? *curious*

NFL Lockout - Almost Over or Just Getting Started

In my household that means with no sport to distract me, I'm starting to get under foot and in the way too much :D

Heh, I'm a regular daily lurker myself. Wonder what the record number of registered visits between posts is? LoL. Love the Cards, love reading the discussions and game breakdowns and still very much learning your great American game.

    Whiz's Record Is Broken

I thought you were referring to the post-game press conferences. They certainly sound like a broken record.

    I'm Finally On-Board (AW)

Just on that, who is DRC is referring to here? Is this a dig at the coaching staff? http://www.azcentral.com/sports/cardinals/articles/2010/11/14/20101114arizona-cardinals-fans-booing-seahawks-game.html

Hags @ Cards - What... No Game Thread? Here it is...

Is that what happens when you have no confidence in your QB in the end zone? Talk about painful to watch.

They're all at the game, I bet. Let's hope we're due.

Anyone have a web link to this week's game?

I'm watching on http://www.atdhe.net/. Same link each week, just scroll down for the game.

    Game-day thread; 'Da Bears.

Boy did I hold my breath when Breaston got airbone and landed awkwardly there.

Anyone have a live link to tonight's game?

Does it work? I've installed the newVshare.tv plug, but it says channel is temporarily unavailable after it authenticates the player. So frustrating. Think I'll have to pony up for NFL Game pass this season. *seems to be an issue with my Firefox. IE is Ok.*

Sando uses my email for blog topic!

All the earlier talk just sounds like positive reinforcement coachspeak. Tell him he's the man, you have full confidence in him etc, and hope he takes it to heart, gets some confidence and lives up to it.

OT: Okeafor Drafted by Omaha Nighthawks

Michael Ray Garvin was selected by Las Vegas in the same round as Okeafor, and safety Dennis Keyes (He was on the practice squad, wasn't he?) drafted #36 by Sacremento, so some other Cardinal connections.

With the 201st pick... The Arizona Cardinals select CB Jorrick Calvin, Troy

From CBS sports: Analysis Positives: Long, lanky build. Quick feet. Fluid hips. Able to change directions smoothly and shows a nice burst to close on the ball. Competes against bigger receivers. Times his leaps well and can high-point the ball. Locates the ball quickly and is a willing...

What great role models for a talented small school prospect to have as team mates in Fitz and Breaston.

With the 88th pick... The Arizona Cardinals select WR Andre Roberts, The Citadel

There's a 9 min collection of some of his plays at this link (pulled it off the *other* place). He looks pretty allusive, and a couple of those punt catches were pretty awesome. http://www.nfldraftgm.com/2010/02/andre-roberts-wr-citadel.html

I am still upset with the draft schedule.

Starts 9am here, and I have the day off to watch it. The split format also means for the first time, we get the 2nd & 3rd rounds on day 2 now too Saturday morning. Given the depth this year, day 2 is going to be pretty interesting as well. As someone else mentioned, the bad news with watchign...

    Mike Mayock vs. Mel Kiper

I have to admit to downloading ESPNs Draft Podcast with Mel Kiper Jnr each week. I find him very entertaining and passionate. Love the crazy way he talks. I know draftniks seem to rate Mayock pretty highly, though. If Mayock had a podcast, I'd be listening to him too cos I'm a draft junkie.

OT: It looks like Ben Graham and Sav Rocca have started a new trend

There was a documentary shown on TV here around the playoffs that had the Giants staff in Melbourne trying out a bunch of local punting talent. It was interesting to see some of the technical details that go into punting.
