Chiefs 14 Cards 17: The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly

Unless the cardinal's offense greatly improves, the Rams will destroy the Cardinals.

    Ellington done for the year

I think he was way way over used and Wiliams play today indicates there should have been a change a long time ago. I hope he is able to come back next year.

Are BASK Guilty Of Foot Dragging?

The emperor has no clothes. For weeks we have been lauding BASK but now the weaknesses come out. Why wasn't the need for a power runner addressed sooner after the injuries? Why did BA continue to use Ellington as a power runner when he is not a power runner?

    Good Rex / Bad Rex

I can't remember but didn't the Bears have some success running the ball that year?

    Game 12 (ATL 29 AZ 18) Thoughts

I still don't understand why BA thought he could continue to use Ellington as a power runner. He is best used as a finesse running back complimenting a power runner and as a receiver. He has been way over used and its not surprising he was injured.

    Let's Be Fair

To be fair to Stanton, it is tough when there is no running game. And for this I blame our head coach.

Cards 18 Falcons 29: The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly

BA deserves an F for coaching. The running game has been awful and yet he starts out with the same Ellington runs for little gain. Why not use Stefan Taylor to at least keep the defense guessing a little about who would get the ball. To me Grice looked promising. He made some good moves.

You've been a Cardinals fan for a long time if you remember this guy

I don't remember Lee but I do remember Charlie Trippi who at 91 will get a special ring at halftime of the Georgia game. I will never forget watching Trippi at Comiskey Park along with the rest of the Dream Backfield - Pat Harder, Elmer Angsman and Paul Christman.

I've said it before & I'll say it again

I'm pessimistic unless we get a running game. We are one dimensional and easy to plan against if we only have Ellington as our running back.

    No offense-----No win

There were times when Stanton seem to look scared after a play.

    24 Hour Grace Period

All things considered - particularly playing Seattle at home - I am encouraged. The defense was absolutely outstanding. As much as the biased announcer raved about Seattle, the fact is that they only scored one touchdown and given the field position they had, that is huge.

Ron Jaworski before the Detroit game...

He has played in what, three and one-half games this year and has thrown two interceptions?

Oh how I wish Powers had made the interception? But otherwise he seemed to play a good game.

    BA's comments to Peter King

If I'm not mistaken, the Cardinals were losing when Palmer got hurt and he was not having one of his best days.

Keim Time Year 2 Upgrading The Offense

O Line for sure Watching the Broncos one things stands out. Peyton gets great great pass protection from his offensive line. I think emphasis on the O line is critical.

    Houser

It looked like Houser was conspicuously absent after the fiasco in the end zone. Did anyone else notice that?

    Btw Peirera tweeted & said...

It was a miss. But we got the same call in our favor earlier in the game. Seattle shot itself in the foot with penalties.

The refs this year are horrid...

The refs made up for it today We got the calls today, particularly the one on the last interception. And the PI call on Fitz's defender was closer than the ones in earlier games where he clearly was interfered with

Screw The Nfl That Game Was Rigged!!!

Arians contacts league office about “many problems” with officiating

There is a fascinating article by Peter King about officiating. He was allowed to follow an officiating team very closely. In the first segment the referee reviews the comments the league made about his officiating in a Cardinal's game. I found it on twitter.

WHY is Ellington not getting the majority of the carries?

The run blocking was atrocious and the play calling for runs was just as bad. We keep running up the middle and there is nothing there because our guards and center apparently can't block for runs.

    We Won!

I am very concerned about our O Line. They have become much better at pass blocking but totally inept at run blocking. You cannot go far if you are a one dimensional team.
