If Valanciunas makes some of those shots around the basket Toronto wins.

Even if the Raptors pull this out in OT, I think this game will haunt them going forward.

Losing Game 1 at home... to the team you’ve never gotten over the hump on... who’s coming off a grueling 7 game series and a draining Game 7 two days ago certainly doesn’t bode well for them.

And man, Thompson has made a HUGE difference on the offensive boards the last couple games once finally put in.

Especially since they wasted so many opportunities down the stretch. They looked like the Raptors of old there late in the 4th quarter.

It is amazing to me how useless Kevin Love is on offense.

Maybe it's me but I want the Raptors to win. Being game one, it will hurt if the Raptors lose.

Neither of these teams seem like they want to win at this point.

Yeesh.

I'm not a Lowry fan, quite the opposite, so I really have no preference here. I'd like to see someone else from the east but Lebron is something special and he won't be around forever.

This is where I’m at. This is generational greatness and he makes any game interesting (against the East anyway).

Not me. The East becomes boring without LeBron out there to be dethroned.

There is no denying the talent.

I tend to root for the underdog making me a Suns fan. lmao

Ugh. Raptors are such chokers.

Can the Raptors recover from this?

Valanciunas could have won the game many times over. I feel for him. He had so many easy misses under the basket.

God the Pelicans were in striking distance but Moore and Holiday tried to go 1 on 5 during the 8-6 minute mark in the 4th quarter. Rondo and Davis didn’t even touch the ball on consecutive possessions. Warriors got away with a hold on Davis too. Then Rondo picks up a couple of phantom fouls on a lucky Iggy missed dunk than pops back in the hoop.

It's a losing proposition, but one you can't refuse. It's the politics of drafting, it's the Big Man's Blues. The Big Man's Blues.

In case I was too subtle (or too clumsy), I really miss Glenn Frey.
I attended the History of the Eagles concert just before Glenn passed away. He and Don Henley (and Joe Walsh and Randy Meisner and Timothy B. Schmit) made magic.

If the reunited group with Glenn's son tours Phoenix, I will be there.

And I still believe that Hotel California is the best and most unique rock'n'roll song ever written.

Lebron is in Toronto's head. There is no other explanation as to why he's owned them for the last 3 years. Tonight they had the lead all game long, with the Cavs never having held the lead during regulation, but Toronto choked in the 4th quarter, again. They have a good team, not great, but they should be able to push the Cavs to 7 games if Indiana can push them that hard also. They may have lost the series tonight by allowing the Cavs to come back and steal that win.

It wouldn't surprise me if no one on their roster thought they could beat the Cavs in this series. After tonight's game I think anyone that might have been on the fence has now fallen over to Cleveland's side.

Not having a lead until the final score... in overtime... of a playoff game. Has that ever happened before? It's crazy that LeBron can have a game that is considered one of the worst he has played in a while, and still post a line of 26-13-11... with 1 turnover.

If he'd been paired with a player if Pippen's caliber early in his career..?

Regardless, I have him as the second best player of all-time.

For the first time in eight playoff games, a member of #Cavs other than LeBron James scored at least 20 points. That would be JR Smith, who finished with exactly 20.
