I can't believe people actually this team is unselfish.

The Suns have been a bottom 5 team each and every year in assists since Hornacek has taken over.

This year currently we're in the lower half again (#17) and I actually expect to get even worse as the season goes on.

You have to consider the sources.

The hardest part of watching the Suns right now is that you never know what team is showing up. The one that can hang with any team in the league, the one who blows double digit leads in the second half, etc. Also it's a question mark as far as who will play coming off of the bench and how long the bench guys will be used. Even if they're hot Hornacek will sit them to bring the starters back. I've never seen a coach ignore when guys are hot or cold when it comes to playing time like Hornacek does.

So then what makes you think it is Hornacek's decision to make? Remember, Sarver is a banker, and as a banker, you look for ROI, and there is little investment, if any, on the bench. Don't you all think that has anything to do with it? We are hardly basketball geniuses on this board (apologies to those who actually may be, or just think they are, basketball geniuses) and we can see the issue. There is no way that Hornacek doesn't see it. I refuse to believe that. He is the son of a coach and a smart player in his own right.

I agree. When something seems so obvious to almost anyone watching it's an almost certainty that there is something happening out of our view.

This team is just dysfunctional right now in too many ways. The whole situation with Markeif is just bizarre. Hornacek looks almost uninterested at times.

Young guys are playing hard, and there are times when you cannot help but be excited by the core of young talent we have to build with, but in their current state there is too much baggage for the casual suns fan to enjoy this team.

Not everyone is a glutton for punishment like we are guys. :)

Go Suns!

I don't know, SOME people keep showing up to games... You can take that any way you want, but if people are buying the product, I'm not sure there's much incentive when it's being run by a businessman who doesn't care all that much about a championship.

The Suns have been a bottom 5 team each and every year in assists since Hornacek has taken over.
Not only bottom 5 in assists, but now bottom 8 in turnovers.

As many times as it has been said, when your rotation has no skilled Point Guards (as well as no skilled Shooting Guards), but rather Guards trying to be either or both, what else can be expected? The Point Guard position affects the rest of the team, just as a quarterback does in football.

If Sarver and McDonough would put their egos aside and move on with skilled, legitimate Point Guards and Shooting Guards, the Suns could finally move toward being a playoff team (for starters).

But it must include a strong Head Coach who doesn't whine to the Press after most games about what his players should be doing.

First time Head Coach Hornacek is demonstrating how big a difference there is between Assistant Coach and Head Coach. Relieve him and McDonough of their misery already. Don't wait until next season to start the change. Let the adjustment period come now.

The counter argument to Sarver doesn't care all that much about winning a championship is the Suns traded for for Brandon Knight and signed him to a five year, $70 million dollar extension. The signing of Tyson Chandler and the almost successful pursuit of LaMarcus Aldridge. The Suns started the season with hopes of winning but everything has gone south. My guess is the Suns are waiting for a trade to improve the team or they are waiting for Hornacek's contract to expire Maybe both.

Making money and winning a championship aren't mutually exclusive. I have a feeling that winning games = money is good enough for Sarver and NOT championship = money.
