Then roll with Beachum and help. We looked much better in the 2nd half anyway.

I just want all the people who were in favor of giving Knee Deep 15+ million dollars a year to realize he looked like a JV backup out there, and got hurt in game 1 of his new contract.

He has been, and will always be one of the worst LT's in the NFL.

OH I was saying it too Bosa was killing DJ, but DJ was asked to block him 1 on 1 way more than Beachum was. Hopefully in the future in that situation KK will switch earlier and give help.

The key was because of help Kyler had more time, it not only allowed D Hop to get open, it allowed Kyler to run because he wasn't dodging Bosa right away.

The offensive line did ok against one of the better defensive fronts in the NFL. People seem to forget that this is a league average offensive line in terms of personnel. Also, Kliff did what he did early last year and put them on islands early and often. Tough way to break in a season without a preseason for them. Fairly penalty free from that group which is important. I think Pugh had two, and the tripping call was suspect. Kyler played better late which helped the group out as well.

I'd say it took 3
We need to just commit to being a running team to start games. These short passes to start the game dont help much.

Get the running game going and we can start play action on teams (some from under center as well)

Also glad Kyler said ENOUGH and used his legs. He's not as shifty as Lamar Jackson but he's not far enough in speed. He looks faster than he was last year to me.

I am listening to the game on the 98.7 app, I wasn’t sure if it would work or not, glad it does. I guess the Cards broadcast team didn’t travel with the team and is broadcasting while watching big screen TVs.

weird to me anyway that the stadium is still piping in music and the PA announcer is business as usual with no fans.
I had SIRIUS Cardinal audio feed on my I-Pad and. spotty video coverage on the Red Zone channel.

It was surreal - the red zone was roughly 4 snaps earlier than SIRIUS. I felt I was living in a time warp.

Keim's two consistent draft sins

1 - Draft a guy who doesn't have a lot of experience.

2 - Draft a guy for a role he has not played before.

Tough for those guys to come in immediately and be successful. We saw that today from Simmons.

I think you're 100% right on the running to start.... im sick of these lateral pass 3 and outs

"Knee deep' is a team captain and he finished the game.

What do they know that you evidently don't?

While vets don't really need the preseason, rookies do. This game is a result in him getting confused in his assignments due to a lack of physical and mental reps

oh you mean he struggled against that bum Nick Bosa
There’s struggling and there’s gawd-awful. DJ was the latter. I noticed that Trent Williams was playing against a pretty good pass rusher too and didn’t suck ass.

Well, you can tell who the douchy fans are going to be already.

Monster win today. First of many this season. Hump did fine today. Bosa was a non factor.
Yup, the ones who call out other fans instead of talking football. Just saying.
