Just when Allen starts to look like AJ again,,, he gets a day off...

With AJ's history of injuries, I agree with giving him a day off, especially for a day game following a night game. BTW, with his recent home runs, isn't it time to call him AJ again? And, lo and behold as I was typing, AJ as a pinch hitter just showed a good eye and got a walk.

The protection he's given Goldy in the batting order has been the key to our getting out of their funk.

Now if only the Coaches could teach the team how to be more productive with runners in scoring position.
