You compared the dude to Geno Smith and Derek Carr just this year.

My point is that a lot can change when you have talent on a roster which we have very little of.

Geno Smith is good. Derek Carr was an MVP candidate late in the year at one point in his career.

I know you're sad that you didn't get to make the "Do people still wanna say Hurts is as good as Kyler?!" post that you had planned for the past two weeks. Sorry about that.

But Hurts has played in two Super Bowls and is the reigning Super Bowl MVP. He's a two-time Pro Bowler. He's CLEARLY better than Kyler.

Hurts is not a better quarterback if you limit your definition of quarterback to ability to throw the football.

Sadly, it's much more than that and Hurts is much better at all those things.

I dunno. Hurts is arguably a better passer than Kyler is rn.

Hard to come up with anything solid to back that up though after a 193.5 YPG season with 18 passing TD's. Sure, there are all kinds of scheme reasons for that but still, no evidence.

Kyler has been pretty rough down field but it's my belief that a lot of his issues stem from processing rather than ability to throw the ball.

I mean, I guess if you're going to look at counting stats.

Hurts: 68.7% completions, 8.0 YPA, 103.7 passer rating, 6.93 adjusted net yards per attempt, 4.2 completed air yards per attempt

Murray: 68.8% completions, 7.1 YPA, 93.5 passer rating, 6.23 adjusted net yards per attempt, 3.5 completed air yards per attempt

I don't really care what the reasons are. Kyler was documentably a worse passer in 2025 than Jalen Hurts.
