The St. Louis Rams announced Josh McDaniels' hiring as offensive coordinator just as the Seattle Seahawks were announcing Tom Cable's addition as offensive line coach.

Pretty solid hire by the Seahawks.

McDaniels installed an offense that made Brandon Lloyd a Pro Bowler and Orton a top QB over the first half of the season. These are both solid hires.

From most accounts, Hue Jackson did a good job with the Raiders, which is why Tom Cable is the offensive line coach with the Seahawks now and Hue Jackson is the Head Coach of the Oakland Raiders.

Tom Cable has been the Russ Grimm of Oakland. Their offensive line hasn't been anything great and he's been there for years.
