The posters at Real GM and phxsuns.net disgust me. There gullibility and poster worship is ridiculous

So I was perusing the free agent list for the next years, and saw the Early Termination Option next to Amare's name for next year. It got me to thinking.

Is there a situation where he doesn't exercise that option next summer? If he is seriously hurt again....is that the only way he doesn't opt out?

I believe this IHG guy is some ballboy with the Suns crazy for attention and media/message-board influence but apparently is unable to deal with it with any kind of responsibility. He gets credible information and spreads it with some exaggeration, and enjoys being worshipped by fellow forum members starving for any kind of insider information. It's like he just wants to get laid once in a while and then boast of it for a while. Well, internet makes those psychotic behavior appear normal now. Very interesting phenomenon.

I already see this coming: the Suns are about to trade Wallace for Chandler, and then Wallace comes out and says he wants to play one more year, Hornets back away from the deal, and we are stuck with Wallace sitting on the bench and collecting paychecks.

That'd be so typical for the Suns lately.:(

First IGH says the deal is dead. Then he says it is a done deal. Then he creates a thread called ''Say Hello To The Newest Sun: Stephen Curry.'' Now he is saying the deal is dead. WTF?

This guy just reflects the sentiment among the management, with a lot of exaggeration.

I feel that PHX has crossed the point of no return, Amare knows that he more than likely won't be a Sun much longer. Let's look at the worst case scenario: we only get Biedrens, Wright & Bellinelli.

How about we do 3 follow up moves to add to what we get:

Trade Nash to NY for PF David Lee and filler, maybe a 1st round draft pick

Sign PG Mike Bibby - May be expendable with ATL drafting Jeff Teague, bring him home.

Sign C Zaza Pachulia - Nice backup to Biedrens

I doubt that. Shaq praised Kerr for being upfront and honest with him on the trading issues. No reason Kerr is not doing the same with Amare. So, if Amare realizes that he wasn't worth much on trade market, he might understand Suns' stance of not willing to give him a max extension already yet. I'd envision he'd come out and try to dominate, in a quasi contract year, and not holding it up against the Suns. The real issue is only whether the eye injury is some sort of career ending.

Kerr might have talked to Amare about the trade situation. Amare's value is extremely because of his eye. No one knows how he will play this season after having that eye surgery. Amare knows in order for him to get a max extension of any kind, he needs to come out and dominate in 2009-2010.

No to zaza, please stop people. Guy is a foul machine plus a complete idiot with crappy basketball IQ.

Watching him make dumb mistake after dumb mistake during the playoffs was painful enough.

Disagree about Zasa. I'd welcome him here.
The guys a legit 6'11" 275 lbs.....25 yrs old,can give you 12/7, and some Euro toughness. IMO he'll get smarter with time.
Thing is, I think he's headed to S.A. if they don't get get Rasheed Wallace first.

According to a HoopsWorld article this morning, so take that for what its worth.. According to sources the new GS offer as of this morning is:

Biedrins
Belienelli
Auzibuke
Turiaf

For STAT

So basically they substituted Wright the ONLY potential in the current trade for Turiaf, a back up Big at best...

UGH.. if you believe this article the deal is getting WORSE, thats soo disgusting...

Now if you add Wright to the deal above, for STAT and Tucker.. then THATS something to consider, but if the suns accept the above deal I am going to throw up...

Turiaf will be a solid backup...at least better than Lopez (our only center now)
Az has also some potential. We haven't seen much of Belli yet, probably the worst piece in this package...
You can't expect too much in return for STAT. Many people still question his long term health and , as everyone knows, his personality and D-fenceless game does not fit every team.
I'd love the 2010 first round pick from them since we don't have ours. It's crucial if we want to rebuild.....

I'm done reading what that IHG fool on RealGm has to say. He just posted that he made the "deal being dead" up.

He then retitles his thread, "**** Kkoee."

What a douche. Don't waste your time reading what he writes. Sorry for making this thread.

Definitely a douche, but that doesn't mean he doesn't know someone on the inside. He's usually pretty spot on. He shared his source with one of the mods over there and was said to be legitimate.

But who really knows? Either way, the RealGM boards are entertaining.

OMG. I would say NO without hesitation. This deal is getting worse by the minute. Suns should just break off talks....NOW.

My advice at this point? Well, the deal isn't fair, but if we don't make a move soon, it'll turn into Leandro, Amare, and 5 future firsts for a couple conditional 2nds, and of course, CASH!!! And we'll all celebrate our coveted flexibility! This team has turned from one of the premier NBA franchises to a laughingstock. Thanks Bob.

I agree with your take on the trade. However, maybe there is a missing piece. I wonder if a third team could make this trade agreeable to all parties.

Here is an interesting little blurb:

At his pool party at the Mondrian Hotel in Scottsdale over the weekend, according to sources, Amare was apparently telling anyone who would listen that the festivities were his "going away party." And Amare nearly broke his ankle by stepping on a valet's foot on the way to his room. That probably would have been a deal breaker, huh?

Wow.. thats all I can say... If Amare would have gotten hurt, that offciailly would have been the low point of the Suns Franchise...

Is this a sign or what?

I'm not sold on Wright at all, but this trade is equally bad. Hopefully Kerr sticks to his guns on his demand for Curry or Randolph.

Unacceptable. If that's the best offer, keep Stoudemire for two more years. He's already learning that it's probably not a good idea to opt out this summer, because the market for him isn't as strong as he and his agent thought.
