Have you checked the standing? The Mets and Braves play each other twice on Monday. This is far from over but feel free to bail.Sorry for the reality check boyz and girlz. That's a wrap on this season for the DBacks. Blowing that 8-0 lead at Milwaukee on Sunday was the last nail in the coffin. 1-3 on the last homestand so far doesn't help. Braves and Mets will make sure that 3 teams from the NL East are in the postseason. Perhaps Hazen will actually do something in the offseason to improve the team - and demote the genius Lovullo to bench coach. Hazen better do something major and positive so that the DBacks do not become the Utah Saltlickers in a a season or two.
Yes. I have checked the standings. 3 teams tied for 2 slots. DBacks only have 2 games left (no Gallen or Kelly unless Gallen goes on short rest Sunday). Mets and Braves have 4 games left. DBacks aren't exactly tearing things up at home, so perhaps they get a split of the next two. That won't be enough in all likelihood. With the craptastic pitching (except for Puk), injuries, and inconsistent offense, the road to a postseason berth is a long shot for the DBacks. I hope they make it, because it is true that anything can happen in the postseason. I'm just saying that the horrific loss to Milwaukee on Sunday set this week's slide in motion. Big time.Have you checked the standing? The Mets and Braves play each other twice on Monday. This is far from over but feel free to bail.
Because Torrey might be a good guy and good mentor, but he's not a championship calibur manager.I'm just wondering why we saw Thomas instead of Bell or McCarthy with two out in the 9th.
Marte more than Kelly this game.Kelly and Marte cost us this game. Still, we shouldn’t have left all those men on base. We had our chances. Tomorrow never knows.
