What is so funny about that ?

You are laughing at me cause I will watch and enjoy football regardless.

Yet, you will watch and hate every minute of it ? I guess that is what you are getting at.

And you are laughing at me ?

Ok, whatever. Why watch at all if you are not going to enjoy doing so ? Sounds like lunacy to me.

Obviously, the rest of the league feels the same about Leinart that Whiz does. The only offer he had was from the Texans for the minimum salary. This canonization of leinart is hilarious.

It's like someone who breaks up with a girl because they are fighting all the time and then drunk dialing her on Saturday night because no one better came along.

No one on the Cards (not players, not coaches) had any confidence in Leinart. Let it go.

I think it has more to do with Warnerphiles going through withdrawl. I cannot wait to see how many Dancing with the Stars threads that pop up.

I can see it already.

Unless someone either lights it up, or an unknown emerges from the woodwork, there's not many QBOF at first glance.

This next draft will be made or broken at QB by underclassmen, the seniors aren't all that great. Locker was horrible in his last game, something like 4-20
with 2 picks and under 100 yards passing against Nebraska. That's not his typical game mind you but other than lighting up Syracuse he's been very average. He's a top overall pick on athletic ability and no other QB's.

Mallett will go really high if he comes out, as would Andrew Luck although I hear Luck has essentially told people he's staying one more year.

I almost hesitate to put this out there because Graves might get an idea, but here's a headline for you:

Cardinals Acquire Former First-Round QB from Texans for Undisclosed Draft Pick

"Canonization?"

I think this is a lot more about people wondering why we're still scratching our heads about his release. Those who thought it was a good idea seemed to think Whiz would be exonerated by now; instead everything we feared about DA is coming to pass.

It has very little to do with Leinart, other than he was a guy who knew the offense and isn't a rookie.

I would like to canonize Anderson with a real cannon.

Yep. Has little to do with Leinart and more to do with the bizarre decision to go with Anderson.

Don't waste your time Pariah some of the haters are just to blind to see that releasing Matt a much more seasoned vet in this offense than anyone we kept was a stupid ass move! All hail the Whiz he is such a genius it must have been the right thing to do right? Wrong it was and still is one of the dumbest decisions he has made since he has been here, and hopefully it won't destroy the team that has been the last couple of years. But as it looks now we may be headed backwards and as a Cards fan that SUCKS! Screw DA he is the trash I knew he was but hey he has chemistry with the team right and thats whats important to Whiz apparently....screw talent and knowing the system when you have a guy with a big arm and NO ACCURACY whatsoever!

Whoa Nashman, according to O if you are pissed about a stupid ass move by the head coach that is resulting in a one way trip back to the dark ages than you can't be a fan. You can only be a fan if you sit back and enjoy sucking and the stupid moves leading up to it.

If you aren't pissed, then you don't really care. Whisenhunt needs to be held accountable for bad moves just as much as he is praised for good ones.

Yeah, we could have keep Lienart and after last weeks game, we could all visit him in the intensive care unit.

That's actually a good point. While I still believe we should have kept ML, I doubt he would have held up to the pounding that Anderson's taken the last couple of weeks.

The O-Line doesn't make Anderson suck. Derek Anderson makes Derek Anderson suck. This team is screwed because above all else, the QB is a complete joke. It doesn't matter where else you put blame, the QB is a major problem and the biggest problem.

Just admit you hate Coach Whis and love Leinart.

Here is your post from last year: September 28, 2009:

Maybe coach Whisenhunt should use Matt in the "no huddle package." I wonder how Kurt would like that. When Whisenhunt first implemented that BS I knew we were in for it. Haley saved his ass and now we are back for more.

This is your same tirade, just a new year but now you can disguise it with "losing".

It is easier to just say "Whiz knows what he's doing. We went to the Super Bowl last year."

Whiz benching Edge leading to the Thanksgiving Day and New England suckfests was all part of the plan to motivate Edge which helped get us to the Super Bowl. LMFAO.

Everything Whiz does is part of some overall plan. He is like God. Don't question it.

Competition is good.....only in certain situations according to Whiz. If we need competition, lets start demoting all of the starters during preseason. Lets let Fitz run with the second team because afterall, Lance Long deserves a shot.

Sorry, this QB competition is garbage, and it points to the stubborness of Whisenhunt.

More Whis hate and Matt love from August of last year.

Just admit you hate Whis (there are many more posts that back this up) and your bitterness is really rooted in your love for Leinart. That love blinded you to the fact that Whis did the right things and Warner was clearly better. Whis hasn't been a fan of Leinarts from the beginning and year after year he shows it (remember BSP playing before Leinart in a pre-season game). Leinart couldn't step up and win the job no matter who the competition was (he couldn't even beat out DA!).

Whiz is an idiot plain and simple. IDIOT. His boneheaded, arrogance is costing the team and always has. He's milked Denny's drafts to a lucky Super Bowl run, but he can't manage personnel to save his life, and he is a joke of a play caller. Warner is done. Hightower sucks. Plain and simple. This same clown benched Edge when it was obvious he helped provide a double threat where Hightower could not and the same clown isn't playing Beanie when its obvious he is better. We had our fun last year I guess. Back to mediocrity.

Here you are giving up on September 28th of last year: We were 1-2.

If mediocrity is 10-6, another division title, a playoff win, and losing to the Super Bowl champions in the playoffs...that's pretty good.

Maybe, but what else could have been done. It's obvious the team wasn't behind Lienart. Look what happened to the Rams after Warner left. It's impossible to replace the ir-replaceable.

wow

Leinart is gone and everybody knows this, this is like recycled garbage laying around everywhere. (these matty posts) Never going to happen. Hes never coming back.

Same with Warner too people, I was very spoiled also by this guys will and drive that took us to the promise land. But the man has moved (waltzed actually) on.

Lol, at this bum Anderson, he is the bomb, because he can throw the bomb. Who cares about his stats, history doesn't repeat it self. We can go the playoffs with DA. (if he buys us all tickets) Maybe he should play good old iron man football. Play defense too DA, (he is just so darn tough), give us our best chances on both sides of the ball. Accuracy? Were talking accuracy? Sarcasm folks, just sarcasm.

I don't care if its Max Hall or not. But please put DA on the bench (like any other team would) as soon as possible. Trade for a vet, try out a rookie, *****'n check E bay.

Get on board.

He doesnt have enough talent to carry a clipboard so an outright cut is the way to go. Pick up Garcia for backup.

He is paid for and is not going anywhere. When you see the Cards line up next week it will be Anderson behind the center. We are not going to go with an undrafted rookie any time soon. We are 1-1 not 0-2. We have 14 more games to go and you can be sure that Anderson will start at least half of them to see if he can be what he once was. Our rookies are just that, rookies and are going to have to pay their dues before they are ready for prime time. It is to late to bring in an outside QB at this point so we are stuck with what we have for this season. Graves presented us with this scenario and we will have to live with it. If the attendance drops significantly then Mr. Graves will get a visit from Mr. Bidwill and the Bidwills do not like seeing the revenue drop. The Cardinal organization will pay no more attention to our sometimes paranoid board than a fly on the wall. Let us get some games under our belt before we all jump off a cliff.

Whiz will ride Anderson until there is no chance in hell of this team making the playoffs. then he may decide to look at Hall. Whiz will not admit to screwing up and naming Anderson the starting QB.

When you look at this objectively you really need to question many of Whiz's decisions.

You start the season with two good RBs, so Whiz decides he wants a offense to stretch the field with deep passes.

In order to stretch the field Whiz names a QB who can't hit the broadside of a barn to run this stretch offense.

He assembles a starting Oline that is much better at run blocking than pass blocking to pass block for this stretch offense. He trades away one of the better pass blockers from last year's Oline.

Does anyone see a problem with these decisions?

They are all obvious blunders but some don't want to admit that Whisenhunt can make a mistake every now and then and that some are more severe than others.

Not on board...we are 0-2 if Leinart was the starter.

Not because Leinart sucks or DA is better than him...Leinart was just done here (mentally).

I think ML will get another chance and will succeed.

That being said...DA was not the biggest problem on the team yesterday.

Please get it right Matt was gone the day they hired Whiz...!!! The Kid never had a chance. Whiz always put him in the position to fail. This post should be " FIRE WHIZ ...!!!"
