Nice!

COD is the only game that is a sure fire hit so I may be buying that and taking turkey week off and playing online all day mon-wed!!!

We will have to sync up!

I might just buy the digital copy of COD and skip the stores/preordering stuff

havent seent he trailors yet, likely will start looking at them when the box comes out. Probably start up gamefly through the holidays too to try all the new games.

I'm a PC gamer typically. Buying this for the kids but COD would be for me. :D

Had the original Xbox a while back but never did any online stuff. Do you have to pay extra for Xbox Online content? Is that what Xbox Live is?

That is what xbox live is. You can login, download stuff and do different things without xbox live gold but gold is what lets you play online, use all the different cool services and etc. Been a happy gold customer since it came out. fantastic service.

PS: if you search amazon sometimes you can get really good discounts on gold and with xbox one, one gold profile means everyone in the house is gold. On 360, only my gamertag is gold.

Thanks for the info.

Do you have a link for the XBox One Gold card? Everything I saw on amazon said 360.

Used to be a huge COD fan but the last few iterations became very "arcade-ish", I made the switch to Battlefield and never looked back.

I think they are too different to compare. it seems people love one or the other and not really both. For me, battlefield maps are far too large and take too long. I dont feel I have the direct impact on the game as I do in COD.

Plus, I love fast paced quick action - battlefield is just slow to me.

See, I feel the opposite. I think I have more of an impact on the game in Battlefield 4 because it does require teamwork or you get your backside handed to you. So many COD matches become spray and pray. I still like playing COD once in a while but I just can't go back to it after playing the Battlefield games.

I do see your point about the maps being too big but that applies more to the older Battlefield games. Battlefield 3 has plenty of smaller maps and modes very similar to COD3 designed for close quarters combat now. I bet BF4 will too.

i dont wear my headset and tend to jump into games, play for 30 minutes and move on with my day so the teamwork thing kinda kills it for me.

Back when I was in a "clan" and spent an hour or two a night playing with my teammates and etc that was great but being just me wanting to shoot people for a little bit COD usually makes mopre sense.

I like em both it just depends on what you are looking for.

amazon has more preorders as of 5am tomorrow limited supply

Must have been real limited. I tried to preorder this morning but they were already out.

Ironically yesterday I received a bunch of games and an extra controller that I preordered from Amazon. To bad they are useless till I get my console in December.

lol wow - I preordered everything from the same place. My console and controller are in ontario right now, my game doesnt show it is anywhere yet. I found later on better deals on controllers with charger packs and etc so i wont mind if they show up late, will just return them and buy the bundles.

Same with call of duty. If it shows up late I will just download it so I dont need a disk and then return the disc.

Mine will be delivered today which is odd because I didn't choose or want next day. I purposely chose standard shipping because it is a Christmas present for the family but I preordered to be assured I got one. Sometimes Amazon is too good.

Nice thing is though, the expected delivery date was to be when we are out of town so I changed the shipping address to my in-laws. So at least I won't have to look at the thing for the next month and not be able to open it. Out of sight out of mind, right?

everyone got next day shipping just so they could ensure it delivered on launch day. it wasnt an extra cost thing, its what microsoft wanted.

If i were you id be plugging it in on "sick days" :)
