    Do we overrate Dansby

I was at a conference in Seattle in October. I arrived on Saturday, the day before the Cards played the Seabirds there. I didn't realize it at the time, but my hotel was the same one the Cards were staying at. While I was going down the elevator, a very tall, muscular man got on. I recognized...

    Lamarr Woodley calls Pats/Bengals cowards

Heck, had they just split with us...he wouldn't have to be crying now. It's called 6-0 in the division, LaMarr...that means 2 against you! Didn't "unleash Hell in December" early enough, eh? Sit home and watch...along with your yellow dishrag-waving fans.

    OT: No Bengals in Pro-Bowl

We don't. I've been a season ticket holder for 30 years. When you count your playoff appearances by what president was in office...you only concern yourself with enjoying the ride when it's good. And I don't claim to be overly pleased with the offense production this season--and it has more...

Consider the Packers may rest their starters....

Thanks...same at ya! Who knows...if Venus and Mars align just right, we could be meeting in Miami. Having been there for SB XXIII...I would be overjoyed to show my Card friends the many joyful locations of South Beach (within legal limits of course ;))

    OT: No Bengals in Pro-Bowl

Doesn't really surprise me. Other than the Ocho and Palmer, there aren't many "known" names on the squad. I think a case could have been made for our outstanding pair of corners and Ced Benson...but it is what it is. Anyway...I'd rather be playing in the game the following week anyhow! :)

Consider the Packers may rest their starters....

We have a (somewhat) similar situation here in BengalVille. We have a shot at the #3 seed if New England loses to Houston and we beat the Jets. There is a distinct urge by both NE and us to "rest the starters" in their respective games. Maybe it doesn't mean much, but for some reason I was...

    Ahmed Brooks...

Oh yeah...that one. ;) By then, he was an afterthought for the Bengals. He had not done squat for two seasons, always hurt, and really had trouble getting into the mental aspects of the middle LB position. He was basically training camp practice fodder when they released him (and hurt there...

    Ahmed Brooks...

Supplemental draft '06. We used a 3rd rounder on him. He never had the off-field stuff. He was always hurt. When he wasn't, he just never had the brain power to pick up the MLB position...at least then. I was all for keeping him around--if for nothing else than his incredible football...

    Cards considering Levi

From a Bengal perspective...IMO you would be getting one helluva player. I still think he's a Top-10 tackle if the legs are right. Levi said earlier this year he's fine physically...evidently our bright front office (and completely incompetent medical staff) thought differently. I may be...

Fill Me In on Rod Hood

:D I was waiting for the anticipated jab on the "criminal" image we have heretofore projected to the rest of the world. Rest assured, we have been "rehabilitated" and are no more criminal than say, the Cowboys (well, we did just bring in Roy Williams). ;) And certainly, less dastardly than the...

Fill Me In on Rod Hood

He's coming into Cincinnati for a look over. Good? Bad? So-so? Worth considering? We have two fairly good starters...so he would be nickel I would think.

    Cut Ross, sign Levi Jones

As a Bengal fan...I can tell you I'm disappointed they let him go. I hope he can hook up with the Cards--you would be getting a helluva tackle IMO. My peeps don't think it is that big of a deal he's gone. They think his past injuries (and "attitude", which I can't figure out that one) have...

Bengals | Team signs QB John Thomas O'Sullivan

Fitzpatrick was a square peg in a round hole for us. He was more a west coast operator...our passing offense is taylored for down-field. He did on OK job last year in place of Palmer, but just didn't have the arm strength to get it there. J.T. (or as we have dubbed him "Just Turnovers") is a...

    OFFICIAL Boldin Trade/Resign/Discussion thread

Re: the Eagles...our FA to be (Houshmanzadeh) was in Philadelphia on a radio show last week. He was yukking around with the squawking heads, and gave the expected "I would love to be an Eagle" line. He also said the same thing about being a Bear in Chicago a day later...so take it for what it's...

Salute to the Cards and Fans

Nothing would please me more...than to have the Bengals represent the AFC in SB 44 against the Cardinals! But that would mean unseating the present kingpins (in our division). They are not unbeatable...we just haven't been able to figure them out since '05. They are universally hated in our...

Salute to the Cards and Fans

Bengal fan here. But long-time Cardinal admirer. It's a tough way to lose...I know, I've been there. 20 years ago I was sitting in Joe Robbie Stadium in Miami for SB XXIII. We had no chance to beat the 49ers, but there we were, up 16-13 with a little under 3 minutes to play. What unfolded...
