    Berry re-ups

He did play well but his days could be numbered with the signing of McFadden. Brown would be the 4th cornerback and they might decide to go younger. I know the staff likes Michael Adams a lot and he provides more on special teams.

    Is Whiz comfortable with Hightower?

Well that may be true but I think TH will be the starting running back next season. For my money unless injured I think he will be fine. He looked pretty good for a rookie and a huge step up in competition. With another year under his belt, and the offensive lines belt, I think he can be an...

    Anquan's Silence

That's the question. Something is going on in Philly. It doesn't seem that they can get up to the minimum as per the CBA as the roster is currently constructed. And there aren't any free agents out there that would require a huge contract. You've got to be suspicious.

For all us Matt Leinart fans...

Yeah, but it don't think it's ideal with all the controversy going on. you know how it is, the first time he throws an interception at a crucial time they will fry him. You can already hear it "Jay has a stronger arm, he coulda made that throw." Fans here are saying he doesn't have a strong arm...

    Pro Days (including Beanie Wells)

Not always. Chris Johnson shot up the draft charts last year after a 4.24 40. He was was known but I don't think most thought of him as a 1st round pick but the Titans took him at #24. It ended up being a great pick and Johnson made the pro bowl.

    Larry English

For all you Larry English fans I heard him on NFL radio tonight. They asked him if he had visits set up with any teams and he said only had one scheduled. He said that he has a visit with the Arizona Cardinals next week. :fans:

    Eric Green to Dolphins

I heard McFadden on NFL radio and he said that it came down to the Dolphins and Cardinals and the Cards offered more money. Eric Green, what a consolation pick!

    Draft Thoughts

Maybe King is getting his info on a deal through the Eagles or Giants end of things.

    Laurinitis interesting background

I agree. The funny thing is that while he didn't run well in the 40 he was one of the top performers in some of the drills that are probably better indicators of success at his position. He was third in the 3 cone drill and sixth in the 20 yard shuttle. I also thought he looked like the most...

Former Broncos GM Sundqvist is the guy

I understand what you are saying and I think things are changing for the better. I know when Micheal Bidwill comes out and walks through the great lawn before games shaking hands with season ticket holders and tailgaters it makes an impression. He even shakes the hands of opposing teams...

    Cards get McFadden

Thats true, and I think he will instantly be our most physical corner. I like having a guy a little more physical across from DRC with his superb athletic ability. I think they will complement each other nicely.

Jurecki: Cards to add experience in F.O.

    That I will do.

How about this kid as a return specialist?

DeSean Jackson is listed at 175 but it wouldn't surprise me if he was around 165 too. I agree though if beavers can run someone may take a flyer on him.

    Leach Signs with Cardinals

You know the funny thing is that in the past you could never go by what the organization said about free agency. The year they signed Edge they told us not to expect anything in free agency and then BAM they signed EJ. They lie to us sometimes!

Best of the Rest: Post Combine FA's

Maybe the surgery helped but I heard Runyan couldn't even walk up or down stairs last season and never practiced. Like a lot of the players listed they would have been great at one time. Now, pass.

Jurecki: Cards to add experience in F.O.

jaguarpaw81, I know you changed your mind about Campbell. My question is still about McFadden and if you liked the signing? Using the criteria you used and the reasoning you used on our own draft picks wouldn't you consider a player who was drafted in the 2nd round in 2005 and has only...

    Upgraded Draft and Trades Plan

I think it just might be that simple. 1. Warner might have just won the job because of the years of experience at his disposal. 2. Whis likes Leinart and sees him as the QBOTF so he holds on to him and if Warner goes down he feels comfortable with Matt. Hes not going to let go of Leinart if...

    Travis LaBoy

I think the thing with the cast was at the end of the season. He seemed to do pretty well till he pulled the groin against Dallas. Remember getting the penalty for offsides as he was trying to limp off the field? After that he didn't seem to have the burst he had before.

Prisco Article: Calais Campbell is the Headliner.

I hope your right. I seem to remember some scouting reports that mentioned added weight gain as a reason for not performing as well as a senior.

Jurecki: Cards to add experience in F.O.

Well you did give Campbell a "U" for underperforming. Wouldn't you also give a "U" to McFadden? I just think your criteria is not fair. You seem to expect every draft pick to immediately perform to where they are drafted and I don't think that is a reasonable standard. Sometimes a player...

With the 31st selection the Cardinals Take

I hope you don't mind but I'd prefer to take Brandt's opinion over yours.

Jurecki: Cards to add experience in F.O.

Answer a question I posed earlier, do you like the free agent signing of Bryant McFadden? Because by almost every definition you used McFadden was a huge bust for the Steelers. He was a 2005 second round draft choice and until this year has only started 10 times and even with this year has had...

With the 31st selection the Cardinals Take

True, but he can do more than just block. He has 112 receptions and 1450 yards over a four year college career. Those are some good stats for a tight end. I like the guy. When he goes out for passes he just dwarfs the guys covering him. The guy is huge. He will have no trouble playing at the...
