More concerned with O-Line than McCown or Shipp

I agree that the Oline is the big question mark this year. We currently have 3 spots settled. Shelton, Big, Kendall. 2 spots unsettled. Spikes, Clement. I see Green taking his best five and putting them in play. there are some options. We currently have the two new rookies that...

    Candidates for the RG position

Going into Camp OL Shelton, Davis, Kendall, Spikes, Clement Green likes to have an OL of 4 tackles and a Center. Shelton, Davis, and Kendall will start somewhere on the OL except for injury. Spikes and Clement are less secure. Backups are Wells, Rogers at T Roundtree, Wragge, Leckey...

Do we have anybody in NFL Europe?

Reggie Newhouse is a backup(maybe third receiver) for the cologne team and Steve Grace is the starting center for the Rhein Fire. The third player allocated was not selected to a team J.P. Comella and the Cardinals released him.

Restricted Free Agent signing ends Friday

Based on him being at the mini camps, I see him signing the tender offer since he received no interest during the signing period.

    Current Roster

I don't see them keeping 11, but do see them keeping 9. DE: Berry, Johnson, Wakefield, KVB, Pace. I see this as Wakefield on the bubble, depending on how KVB plays once he gets back on the field. DT: King, Bryant, Bell, Tanner, Davis, Kolodziej. King, Bryant, and Bell are locks...

They sent us a second rounder that was used to pick Corey Chavous.

Do the new guys have numbers from the minicamp?

Thx Jim, That was sort of what I expected but the Cardinal site did not have the update when I last checked(This morning).

Do the new guys have numbers from the minicamp?

So, at least for now, there are two number 72's on the cardinals? Kenny King Ross Kolodziej

Who will have a better year, McCown or Plummer?

With Dennis Green's offense, I can see McCown putting up some good numbers. I can see him having more yards and completions than Jake, probably more interceptions, but not as many wins. The Denver offense is predicated on the run with the QB not asked to carry the team. Green is...

Do the new guys have numbers from the minicamp?

Hi all, For those who were able to attend the minicamps, do you have the jersey numbers for the new signees. I think, from the cardinals site Isaac Keys - 58 Vince Alexander - 59 Raill Johnson - 47 Ross Kolodziej - 72(the same number as Kenny King) Thx,

Are the Cards willing to gamble? Are you?

The advantage of stating a willingness to trade down with Cleveland tells the NY Giants that if they want Gallery, they may want to move up. This gives the Cardinals another possible trade partner(similar to San Diego trading up one spot with the Cardinals to get the can't miss QB). :shrug...

    Draft Focus

Running back can wait til next year. We have both Shipp and Smith with Scobey still around. Damien Anderson is a question mark due to his accident. Should be fine this year. If someone gets hurt in training camp then pick up someone. Next year look to get a Running Back early in the draft...

Notes From the Nest: Coach Green Addresses Free Agency, Fitz, and M. Williams

I heard on KDUS that Fisher was seeing a surgeon in Tucson to determine whether he needed to have work done on his knee, and whether the problem was an extension of the problems he had in college. My vision of improvements this year on offense are two-fold. 1) Denny Green runs a QB-friendly...

what Denny is trying to say

Then there is a question as to whether D. Green is much better. From the same article Neither does 10 of Minnesota's 19 draft choices.

    Gratton Traded

The best thing I like about Morris is on the power play where we now have Doan in front of the net instead of at the blue line. I also see this as an overall upgrade to the defense. With all the new guys I see the biggest loss of Gratton is his ability to win faceoffs.

Pure Rumors on Scheduled FA visits

If Dan Krieder is coming in, it looks like Denny Green was not happy with James Hodgins last year.

    FA 2-Gap DT

One of the Draft Sites has him predicted to come to Arizona, based on D. Green's previous experience with him in Minn.

azcardinals.com Reviews Dennis Green's Glendale Chalk Talk

Based on D. Green's 4 criteria: Play hard, Play smart, Play physically, Play consistent. Jeff Blake scored low on Play smart, he played hard, played physically, was consistent(just not very well). Bill Gramatica scored low on Play smart, Play physically, he played hard, and was...

Cap Space for all 32 Teams

I changed the list to sorted by amount over/under cap. I assumed(with all that implies) that Oakland was not millions under the cap. Cap update TEAM-BY-TEAM SALARY CAP UPDATE Team Cap status Tennessee Titans $17.5 million over Miami Dolphins $10.5 million over Denver Broncos $5.7...

    Gramatica is gone!

What I see from this decision is that Denny Green seems to be putting his stamp on this team and is making changes to the roster based on his review of the players. I may not agree with all the changes he makes and some of them may come back to haunt him, but I am seeing someone who makes a...

    Nightmare staff

Back to the Staff Thanks to Harry for getting this thread back on topic. My thoughts on the new staff. HC: Dennis Green A great hire, much different than past hires. Cardinals picked a short list, and went after them. After the first round of interviews chose Green as first in line...

    Garcia is back next week

Garcia does not take up a roster spot. We will have to make a roster change to add him back. I could see Rogers being waived. The question with either Wells or Rogers is whether Wragge gets waived from the practice squad to make room or not.
