Reynolds goes deep to make it 4-2 Diamondbacks! CoJack had a nice defensive play the inning before when LA had the bases loaded and no outs and he got a big two-out hit preceded Reynolds homer.

Yes, it was a great day for the must win Arizona teams -- the D'backs, the Cardinals and the World Championship Phoenix Mercury.

The D'backs, of course, needed to avoid a sweep and regain momentum.

The Cardinals needed to avenge their opening game loss and start this new season again.

And congratulations to Ann Meyers-Drysdale and Paul Westhead, who recognized that they needed to address defense AND rebounding . . . and won it all. If only the Suns management would do the same.
