If the preseason games told us anything it is that the preseason games no longer tell us anything.
Tells us nothing except our suck players suck more:)

Truth is, the coaches use the preseason games to capture film used as training tools. Some coaches more than others.

Gannon said the Cardinals are still going through some post-game injury checks, but he didn't sound particularly concerned about the guys who left yesterday's game."Couple bumps and bruises but nothing that jumps out."

Gannon updates on Darius Robinson and Zay Jones suspension situation:
Robinson will miss time but Gannon said he wasn’t going to put a timeline on it.
Team knew something could happen with Jones. Feels WR depth can handle Jones absence.
Hard disagree with Gannon here, but whatever. It is what it is. Also, again, WTF Monti? Great thinking with that signing.

Considering we are built to run 12 and 13... Marv, MikeWilly, and TheTorch can more than handle our WR snaps for a month.
Even in 13, our pass catchers can be Harrison, McBride, Wiggins, and Connor/Benson...with Tip as the X factor.

He didn't say he was satisfied with the starters at WR, he said he was satisfied with the depth at WR. You marked out starters, but we are thin at depth for the time being.

yeah...but if we run 13 there is only 1 wr..so, god forbid if Marvin or Mike go dowm, we still have the other..in 12, only 2 wr...Dortch might be too small to man the outside for an extended period but he can do a couple games if one of the taller guys sucks too badly.
realistically, how many snaps was zay jones gonna get in the first five weeks?

I’d guess 25%. We’ll probably still play more 11 personnel than either 12 or 13. We lead the league in 13 personnel last year at 10%, and this was when we were playing A TON of it toward the end of the year when all our WRs were hurt.

sounds about right. But with our personnel we can easily cover for not having Jones for a month

dont get me wrong...missing a guy suxx...but losing zay jones for 5 weeks will have a minimal impact on our offense IMHO

Agree as long as Wilson stays healthy the whole time.
