As it is we are looking to have a UDFA QB starting in the next few weeks how the hell is that better than having Leinart? Just a stupid decision to cut Leinart and ride with this clown as our QB geesh at least we MIGHT have had something with him if not for the coach having a definate personal conflict or dislike of him!

I agree...Anderson didn't make us commit penalty after penalty. And he didn't let a 3rd string RB from Mcneese State Tech University run 130+ yards on us...Usually carrying 4 guys 5 yards.

So we would have lost 28-0. They would have had 9 guys in the box against Leinart..Because that way they can defend the pass, and TH wouldn't have gotten a huge hole to run through.

DA is awful right now but he's all we got unless we want to start the seemingly greatest rookie UDFA QB of all time. Cut Derek Anderson this offseason if he shows zero improvement on his touch and accuracy. Sign Shaun Hill or Donovan McNabb to be the stopgap QB while Whiz develops his QBOTF.

I am for an outright release. The Cards saved enough money so paying his ridiculous contract shouldn't be a problem. There are much better QBs out there to be had who would play here for the minimum.

I would kill for that type of performance from Derek Anderson. We lost 20-17 and as I recall ******* Eric Green lost that game not Leinart. Nice revisionist history.

He will be the back up to Shaub there once he learns the offense. Quit leaving that little tidbit out. And once Anderson gets cut by AZ he will be out of the league. You realize that right?

Agree.

We have a below average QB as a placeholder and the losses have no upside as long as Anderson is here in any capacity. The front office made a mistake and they need to realize it and move forward before the hole gets to deep to climb out of.
Vick/Garcia would also be a waste. Were stuck. Play the rookies and see what we have. Many here were happy the underdog made it, well by him making the team we lost a QB that knew the offense and was not turning the ball over.
