    even though he should have made the fg i still don't understand why we didn't run the ball to the middle of the field on 3rd down. it's not like we we trying hard to get the 1st. we should have at least tried the fg from the middle of the field & not the left hash......still racks fault though.

    the loss to rams not warners fault

    at first i thought it was, but now i've come to find that even had warner not fumbled the ball rackers would have missed the kick. my bad kurt.

    ibm presents..you make the call...it's a penalty if the defender doesn't make an attempt to get back in bounds as soon as possible. he can make the tackle he just can't run 10 yards downfield out of bounds before doing so.

    since dockett isn't very good it's an easy call. he has to show me something before i would even consider him.. seriously the poll should be who should start w/ clancy..either dockett or moore.. my vote goes to moore, & i bet that green is about a game or 2 away from figuring that out.

    if step is playing center for us we are screwed. i agree it sucks to keep shuffling the line but green/loney have failed to adress the problem. everyone watching can see alex is horrible & leckey is an upgrade, yet nothing has been done. the line does need time to gel but you can't keep running...

    i think we will smoke the 9ers. however i'm suprised so many people diss gore. the guy is going to change a lot of people view of him even if he is playing on a bad team. odds are he will run for around 100 yards against us as he is their only real weapon.

    houston actually with blaylock getting a few. barlow has been done for a couple of years now imo, so even if he get all the carries he isn't worth much.

    We have 2 Types of Problems right now.

    as far as edge goes, i agree that he needs time to gel with the o-line but i don't think pre season is needed. the nfl guys were generous enough to give us a warm up game to start the season. the 49ers defense will be exactly what we need to "get it together."

    i think it has a lot to do with gore. their line was garbage last year & he still put up good numbers. i'm hoping edge can make our guys look a lot better as he is doing for the 9ers.

    i only see it working for gore. he is going to be a decent #2 & solid #3 (where i drafted him yesterday). barlow's value is the same imo. he will split carries at best. too bad we couldn't have traded shipp to the jets.

    i'm with you on dockett also. he needs to lose his helmet in the next game to get his love fest going again. seriously though, i really feel it should be watson starting with clancy at the ut. moore & dockett should be the backups. hopefully we figure out that this would be the best way to clog...
