Maybe he thought about his idiotic statement about the inability to repair the damage already done.

Funny how all of the people who piss on boldin around here have no comment about what he says in this article. He openly and clearly talks posotively about the "team"

It is obvious that his beef is with the FO and the slight he feels they gave him. But the team as a whole he is very complimentary of and talks about them as though he is apart of it and was happy to be apart of it.

Really such a slap in the face to you fans.

Yep. Kind of like saying your wife is fat but she sure can cook. Cmon man. He can't have it both ways. He should just shut up and take care of this behind the scenes.

Yeah, I thought his stance softened quite a bit. He said the next couple of weeks would really be important in his situation.

I definitely got the feeling that the door is still open for Q to come back.
While I agree that his stance has slowly been softening, let's not forget that it has done so at the Super Bowl and Pro-Bowl, while surrounded by his teammates, all of whom are probably pumping him up and trying to win him back.

Once the offseason starts and satan starts whispering in his ear, I think all the good will and 2nd thoughts will evaporate.

He needs to get his statements straight. I like how Tiki prodded him with direct questions and Q kind of stumbled. Clearly his beef is with the FO.

Seems like the talking points this year with guys like dukes, barber today etc is 180 degrees from the past ...talking about where you want to go etc. is that good ??? i don't know but makes for good theater...wherever the money is determines where they go...with one exception...nobody is lining up to go to oakland!!

We all love Q as a player, but he needs to get it out of the head that he is not bigger than the organization.

not to ruin the feel good mood, but boldin, while he does deserve more than he himself[for he hired his agent] 2 years ago negotiated for, may need to wait till next year if and when the cap comes off. there are others ahead of him. i wear my boldin jersey here proudly[less so in the last year and a half], but his toughness and pitbull spirit on the field are being overshadowed by his words off the field; if we could get a top 10 pick, a number1 next year or a 2 this year and a solid player whizz picks from an afc team, i'd jump at it. btw, he didn't help himself by his uninspired play in the pb, either.

This whole Q situation is identical to Joe Johnson of the Suns a few years back..
They'll offer him the $$, but in the end he just doesn't want to be here.

Me, me, me, me... Very unfortunate Q has taken that path.

While I agree his stance has been a little disturbing..anyone who doubts his commitment to this team (during the season and post season) needs to have their heads re-examined...Anyone who comes back and plays as soon and at the level Q did after that sunday in NJ is a team player in my book. There wasn't much talk of Q and his contract during the season. He was true to his word.

I'm not sure the next two weeks are that critical. We have to figure out all the guys that will become FAs in the next couple weeks not the guy that has two years left on his contract. I hope he is more realistic than that or he will once again be disappointed. The deadline is Draft Day. If we can nail down our key FAs then fine we can think about Q but as soon as we do it will open the flood gates for Dockett and all the rest of the guys under contract who want bigger $$. They will know all you have to do is have a fit in the media. Hope it all works out. I think it can but Q's fragile ego and expectation of Fitz money make it a hard sell.

As to whether I care if Boldin comes back, I don't. If he wants to leave, it's better for all if he does. I've always felt that way about all players. No person who dislikes his or her job ever makes the workplace better, invariably making it worse than it should be.
Thats the way I feel about it also.
