We're all gonna go in to work tomorrow twitching and mumbling from Manning over-exposure.

Coworker: "Good morning, Dave!"
Dave: "I knew it was too good to be true!"
<Twitch>
Coworker: "Wut? I said good morning."
Dave: "Just leave me alone, I don't think Kolb's any good either!!"

The worst part is having a huge Bronco fan working at my office. If Manning goes to Denver I'm never gonna hear the end of it.

I think it was Joshmo who said he wouldn't get any work done for days if this doesn't get settled

I've only got to fake it a couple of days...going to Hawaii on Friday

(where lying on the beach I will watch my Lobos kick the snot out of Pretty Boy Patino's Cardinals)

What pisses me off the most is that the broncos think they have this in the bag because....we are the Cardinals. Go read Vic Lombardis tweets tonight. He called Phoenix a JV football town and no here near as great a place to live as Denver. He used to live in PHX too.

Between the whole Tebow hoopla, Lack of weapons, cold weather outdoor stadium, and a run first HC the broncos make NO sense IMO.

But we are the Cardinals so no way we will get him, right Denver?

Errr I would expect a elitist attitude from LA or NYC but f'ing Denver?!? Clowns.

Can't wait to take a Twitter Dump on Lombardis hack head if/when PM signs here.

More Seahawks posts...

At this point I don't care as long as he doesn't end up with the Cards, I'll be happy.

If he goes to the Titans, I'd hope for Pete to offer two first rounders for Locker.

If he doesn't leave Arizona for Seattle it's over, he isn't going to go from Arizona to Miami to Seattle before the free agency starts (when he is supposed to make his decision)

Hopefully he goes to the Cards, so we can smash his face in twice next year.

I just don't get why some people are so ulcer-ridden butthurt that Peyton didn't visit. You have no idea why we weren't an option. It's not like he spat on your mom.

I'm all for moving this thread to another forum now that he's officially not even bothering to come here for a visit.

So who wants to start printing up the "Muck Fanning" shirts?

The more I think about this, the more I want Peyton to sign with Arizona *IF* he doesn't sign with us. I'd want to see us lay him out, because I'm not too damn proud to admit that I'll be jealous of the Cardinals if they land him.

Outside of the Seattle fans, the Seahawks are unfortunately just not a desireable destination for most "big name" free agents out there....now and in the future. Money talks up to a point. Poo-poo as you will "media bias", etc...but the fact of the matter it is very real (unfortunate and unfair as it is).

With that being said, it is VERY unlikely in my opinion that Manning even considers taking a trip up here. I thought it was a distant long shot (for even the visit) from the beginning. And you know what? It just doesn't matter to me that much. For all the pros and possible awesomeness PM "could" bring, I am not for short term solutions.

This applies to Mario as well. I just have this feeling that he won't end up here either. But that is fine....continue to build through the draft and stay young. Sign your own good players and stay the course.

Vic Lombardi keeps tweeting "You will see in a few days" like Denver has it in the bag, and he has some special source with PM

I couldn't even listen to "Mike & Mike" on ESPN this morning. "Let's assume for the sake of argument that Manning signs with Denver", then they go into a long dialogue about Denver trading Tebow to Jacksonville and acquiring Blaine Gabbert in return and Manning tutoring Gabbert for the next 2-3 years, yadda, yadda, yadda, and not a single word about the Cardinals.

They did say that Seattle and Kansas City are out of the picture, and that the TN owner is desperately trying to get PM to Nashville.

The presumption of the conversation is probably why they didn't mention the Cardinals.

The problem is that all of those ESPN shows are happy to explore the Denver possibility, but completely ignore the Arizona one.

It gives me even more reason to continue my boycott of the channel indefinitely... well, unless Manning signs with us, and then I'll watch to see how they justify never giving the Cards even the smallest chance.

The absence (or at least minimization) of Arizona in the vast majority of these conversations is astounding. I could understand if it was pre-release of Manning, but we get barely a mention even at this point of the process.

More and more I want Manning to pick AZ just so all of these experts have to eat crow.

This is what Denver is. Live there for any amount of time and you will be fighting people. Always has been. And it's really not a good city to live in to be honest. Won't go into that here. But they have a hard for PHX. They have always taken a dump on us since I can remember. They are obviously jealous. I'm serious.
