    Kenyon Martin?

Kmart is not a center...especially out west. Too small. Amare is our powerforward. I'd rather have Amare than Kenyon playing the PF position. Kenyon at SF? Possible but Marion+Zarko seem to hold the spot down. Also Kenyon would probably not play SF well considering his style of game...

East Valley Tribune: Suns might be active in free agent market

I dont know about Kobe anymore because last I read the Lakers can offer more money...something like close to 20 million more over the life of the contract. Lakers can offer him the most so unless Kobe REALLY hates the Lakers then he'll stay put.

Republic: D'Antoni expects winning record in final 27 games

I was just checking our schedule again and I find D'Antoni's preciction as down right insanity. I find maybe a half dozen games that look winnable but most others look like real fights. I'd be shocked if we dont get a top three lottery pick out of this season

Republic: D'Antoni expects winning record in final 27 games

At this point and time it just seems lame. Sometimes it's cool when they predict things but in the context of our current situation its just plain laughable. We have the youngest team in the NBA...a new coach...one of the toughest upcoming schedules in the NBA...guys recovering from...

D'Antoni is a dreamer. Our schedule is brutal for the next month and a half.

    Still like the Marbury trade?

I still like this trade because there are different directions we could go with it. Dumping Marbury already panned out a little because our team is tanking and will have a better draft pick. True we still lost WITH Marbury but dumping Stephon enabled a more lasting tank...one that had to...

    Still like the Marbury trade?

Whatever...In case you havn't noticed almost anything done in the NBA has an element of risk and gamble to it. If one is going to play it nice and safe at all times then no guts no glory I say. Colangelos took an educated gamble....a gamble that you have NO IDEA WHATSOEVER about what will pan...

    Still like the Marbury trade?

Elindholm's post reminds me of Knicks fans describing the trade...They got everything and we got nothing.

    Still like the Marbury trade?

So many things can happen in the offseaon that its WAY unfair to judge the trade now. I mean of course NY is looking like they got the better end of it... thats only because they dont have to wait on anything. The have Marbury right now and are getting allstar production. The beauty on our end...

Another Marion trade that works under the cap

I also can see both sides of the argument... Is Shawn overpaid? The consensus is yes and I agree with that. But is Shawn so overpaid that we must dwell on it like his salary is holding us back? I think not. Marion is actully less overpaid than the majority of max players out there. Also, even...

Another Marion trade that works under the cap

It would be nice to someday pin down these Marion haters on what Marions actual worth is and whom they would trade him for. All these vague comments of "Marion is overpaid" and "Marion isnt a go to guy". How about more specifics? I mean since Marion is so overpaid and all you must have...

Another Marion trade that works under the cap

Chaplin "And just how overpaid is Marion? That's the real question. And consider the rest of the players we could get in return, but I will wager that a good 85% of them are overpaid much worse than Marion is." O'Brian your post has no relevance to Chaplins post

    Idea!

If we can't trade up to a sufficient level (top 3) in the draft then I prefer to package them with Eisley, White or both of them. Eisley I really want to get rid of. I dont think we want to use all of our draft picks (especially if the Cavs made the playoffs). Using all our picks will only add...

    Is JJ THE MAN?

Why not just dump White AND Eisley? To do that we'd probably use draft picks (with money) and that would be consistant in keeping salary down. I mean do we need more youth at this point? We're already the youngest team in the NBA and this next draft doesnt seem real strong. By dumping...

Amare out until after the All-star game

So would it make you feel better if Amare said "I'm coming back whether I'm healed or not"....To me he sounds more reasonable for not coming back until he feels ready. I mean he came back early already and it got him reinjured....plus now we have doubters hassling him questioning his desire on...

Please no settling on Camby I'd rather talk about the remote chance of getting Kobe versus the good chance of getting Camby.

    Fresh Start? (again)

Kobe doesn't have to sign for absolute max his first year. The contract could be a for a couple mill less than max but have big raises as Suns payroll comes down. There are different ways it could be structured. It really depends how bad Kobe wanted out and if he's willing to structure things...
