    Maybe I've grown to cynical, but my guess is that the Suns objective is to make a profit, not get a championship. If they can do just enough to put fans in seats and sell some jerseys without spending too much that probably suits Sarver just fine. Look at the Clippers, they are one of 3 teams...

    He is also not even in the same talent class as Barkley. You can't build a championship contender around Cousins, but he is mental enough that I can imagine some elite players not wanting to play with him.

    If there are 20 amazing players in the draft, doesn't that mean that we and 19 other teams will greatly improve? That puts us in the same situation as before. There is no advantage in tanking in a super rich draft that you are describing.
